Bliss is a wonderful little bakery located on West Franklin St. (right beside Sandwich). Apparently it is expanding the business, which is great news for my sweet-tooth! Squid’s Restaurant, Market and Oyster Bar was once again named “Best Seafood Restaurant” in the Triangle by the Independent Weekly. The longtime local favorite beat out other well-known area seafood restaurants for the honor including 42nd Street Oyster Bar, Fins Restaurant, and Kemps Seafood. Squid’s also won the award in 2006 and 2008.
